About the Kingplex

• Lessons are given Monday through Wednesday from 4pm until 9pm
  
• Sunday from 9am to 8pm
  
• Thursday, Friday and Saturdays are open for rentals / $75 per hour

HITTING
The hitting instructions are given with wooden bats only (no aluminum) and no batting gloves are used. Why? When we do something wrong we either break a bat or sting our hands. This is how we correct flaws in our swings. We hit live pitching, no machines involved, therefore we see different arms slots from lefty’s and righty’s.

PITCHING
Pitching instructions we only use FB ’s – ( 2 – 4 seam) – cb – once taught correctly will be devastating. Also used is the straight ch-up. These pitches are only taught to youngsters in tenth and higher grades. At the lower grades you are still developing into your body. We do not teach a slider as it is hard on your elbow. Three pitches with three speed variations. We develop pitchers and not throwers. Younger pitchers until 10th grade, FB-CH-UP.

INFIELD / OUTFIELD
We also have drills for infielders and outfielders. One of the most important positions is catching. It is very critical to maintain a close relationship with the pitcher so they are on the same wave length. He is the quarterback.

We work in groups of three, one session lasting one hour or groups of 6 for 2 hours. A two week deposit is required to prevent late excuses and is not refundable. We are looking for dedicated baseball players enabling me to take them to the next level, college or professional.

Once again, 57 of our students have entered into college and 2 have signed professional contracts. This is to be a game of fun and not a life and death situation. We have a saying here at the kingplex “if something goes wrong, the best thing about it is “it’s over!”
